25th June 2007

Well, the rain kept off and despite Mr Rushbo and Mr Miller being in two other bands (the hardest working men in show business?), they had enough energy to play and we did well. Some mistakes (speak for yourself Mark.-ed.) (maybe we should keep Waz's avant guarde guitar part on "Strange Love"?) but that playing live! Miss Ella was able to join us for this gig which is always a bonus and adds greatly to our vocal harmonies. Our set was interupted by the carnival parade so it was all a bit bizarre! Still we got some dancing and applause and cries of "more!" at the end, so job well done!

Thanks also to Zen and to Tony Wille, who pulled an unsuspecting volunteer out of the crowd to play along on harmonica. A rocking blues set as well from T's Basement who reformed after 15 years for the gig.
